Elizabeth's review of the inauguration

Elizabeth, who saw the inauguration with her 1st grade class, loved Aretha Franklin's rendition of "My County 'Tis of Thee." She said it was a whole lot longer than the one she she sang at school, and a lot better, too. She remarked that Franklin was old and then after thinking for a moment said she thought that people learned how to sing really a lot better as they got older.
President Obama has a pretty good ring to it!

My modification of the new official presidential portrait. There was all this nice white space in the background of the original inviting you to project your feelings about the Obama inauguration.
I added the dawn in the background. (Painter X & Cintiq, again.) The largest version is printable at 300 dpi at 5 X 7.

David had lunch with Rudy Rucker the other day in Manhattan. They had lunch at Beppe where they have cuttlefish on the menu. Rudy, who sometimes has cuttlefish as characters in the his books, ordered the cuttlefish.
