Constance Nash Hartwell,
September 14, 1913 – November 11, 2005

At HomeDavid's mother, Constance Nash Hartwell, died this morning, a week after suffering a severe stroke. She visited us for a week in September and we were hoping to have her back soon. Also, we vacationed with her in Maine this past August.

Here she is on the front page of the sports section of USA Today last January, admiring the Red Sox World Series trophy. (She was also interviewed on this occasion by The Duxbury Clipper.) She was a life-long baseball fan.
